Tim and I are excited to be back with in person classes at Blackwell Elementary School! This year we will be back to in person classes Monday mornings before school from 8:00-9:10am. In the class we will do lessons, puzzles, games with their peers and other activities. Sportsmanship is stressed throughout the class with a strong focus on critical thinking. We were really happy with how everything went last year and are looking forward to another great year.
Kindergartners: To be ready for chess, your kindergartner should be able to do simple math and some reading and writing. I am offering an 8-week trial for $100 (for Kindergartners only). Email me if you would like to do the trial option or have any questions.
Dates: Monday October 3rd–June 5thth (28 classes).
No Class: 10/17, 12/19, 12/26, 1/2, 1/16, 2/20, 4/10, 5/29.
Price: $350 ($12.50 per class).
Class Meets at Blackwell Elementary. Parents will drop students off at the front of the school and we will escort them to class.
Time: Mondays 8:00am - 9:10am
Parents will need to volunteer for at least 1 class. (No chess experience required).If you are willing to volunteer for the whole session you will receive a discounted tuition.
