Hindi Time Kids Level 2 Spring Session

Age Group - 8 - 10 years

 

Saturday Mornings: 11.30AM – 12.30PM PT

Dates: Dates: 4/6 (2 hour first class), 4/20, 5/4. 5/11. 5/18 (6 sessions)

Class size: (Min – 5 and Max 10 students)

Details: Language classes at this level will cover topics such as vocabulary building and grammar in addition to alphabets and numbers, shapes, and colors in Hindi. We also include games, like “Simon ne Kaha” ('Simon Says'), Dhoondo (Scavenger Hunt) in Hindi. Children will learn through in-class & group presentations on current events, daily activities like telling the time and placing a take-out order in Hindi. Children will also be part of a drama/play in Hindi to engage in a dialogue and practice phrases and words in Hindi learned during class. Children will be tested at the end of the semester to gauge their learning and will receive a certificate of completion.

enrichment class. Tailored for ages 5-10, this after-school program offers an exciting journey into
language, art, music, and traditions. Through interactive hands-on lessons and learning aids,
kids will learn basic Hindi phrases, alphabets, numbers, shapes, and engage in fun Fall/Winter
seasonal craft and activities to grasp cultural nuances.
Children will also learn about important South Asian festivals like Diwali, Holi, Eid, Vaisakhi,
Navratri and expand horizons, foster diversity appreciation, and kindle linguistic skills in a
welcoming environment. We will use arts, crafts, dance, music, and drama for children to
engage in exploration of South Asian rich heritage, igniting curiosity while building a strong
foundation in language and cross-cultural understanding.

Hindi Time Kids is a dynamic language and culture enrichment initiative that brings the essence
of South Asia to children, families, and communities beyond the region. By infusing enjoyment
into learning, we impart Hindi communication skills and foster an appreciation for South Asian
heritage. Geared towards children aged 4 to 10, as well as teenagers seeking to connect with
friends, parents, and grandparents, our programs create a vibrant platform for Hindi learning
