Snoqualmie Elementary Spring Chess Class Wednesday After School

UPDATE. NO CLASS ON 5/15, and 5/22 for concerts. 

All About Chess is excited to be hosting a chess class on Wednesdays this spring at Snoqualmie Elementary. We will meet after school from 3:40pm-4:40pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.

March 27th - June 5th | Not Meeting 4/10, 5/15, 5/22.

Price:

$112.00 (8 Classes)

A typical class begins with a practice game followed by a focused lesson. Then, depending on the week, students practice what they have been learning with games against their peers, fun variant chess games, solving puzzles, and checkmate patterns. Sportsmanship is stressed throughout. Another theme of the class is thinking about our actions and making good choices. You can add on a 1 year gold membership to chesskid.com for $20.00 (Regularly $49.00). This has some great tools for students looking to improve and practice with their peers. They would also be added to our group, which gives access to our practice tournaments.

If you are interested in volunteering for the class please email me. Discounted tuition is available for full time volunteers. No chess experience necessary.
