This is a 5 Round State Qualifying Tournament.
The tournament will start at 4:30pm and all students will play 5 rounds, unless there is an odd number in a section where a student may receive 1 bye. Students who receive 3 or more points will qualify for the State Championships in April. Top performers receiving placement trophies, first time participants will receive an award. Placement trophies are based on the number of participants in a section. These will be NWSRS rated tournaments and all first time players will receive a rating after the event is submitted. The tournament should last until around 8:30pm with an award ceremony after the last round.
Depending on numbers we hope to have the following sections:
K-2 U800
3-6 U900
K-8 Open
Please put in the notes if you would like your child to play up into the Open section.
