Description

All About Chess is exited to offer Two In Person classes on Wednesdays at Sunset Elementary. We will have the Upper and Lower Flex spaces after school on Wednesdays so we will be able to divide the class into two groups. One Intermediate-Advanced group and one Beginner group.  A typical class begins with a practice game followed by a focused lesson for the group. Then, depending on the week, students practice what they have been learning with games against their peers, fun variant chess games, solving puzzles, and learning checkmate patterns. Sportsmanship is stressed throughout. Another theme of the class is thinking about our actions and making good choices.

You can add a 1 year Gold Membership to chesskid.com for $20.00 (regularly $49.99). This is a great resource for students looking to get more practice.
